The quality of meat from animals grazing freely on chemical-free pastures is incomparable to that of conventional mass-rearing. Every animal is born right here on our farm. Because we know exactly how they lived and the environment they grew up in, we can guarantee exceptional quality of our meat. We pride ourselves on maintaining breed purity, avoiding crossbreeding to ensure that the quality of our meat remains consistent.
Today, the farm is managed by Ing. Marie Volšická, her husband, and their three children. They truly believe the farm and its surroundings are the best place to live.
Our family tradition began with grandfather Josef Volšický and his wife Marie from Křížov, who worked in crop production and dairy farming. They were proud farmers who put their hearts into everything they did. The Communist regime put them under enormous pressure to give up their livestock and land, but unlike most, they never gave in. Even with the grueling manual labor and minimal machinery of the time, something hard to imagine today, they remained devoted to farming their entire lives.
However, Josef forbade his son, also named Josef, from farming. He didn't want his children to endure the same hardships. Yet, hard work, perseverance, and integrity are traits passed down through generations. While his son listened to his father, never lost touch with agriculture. Together with his wife Milada, he started manufacturing springs, initially for farming machinery. Over 30 years, they built their business into one of the world's leading spring producers.
The "farming gene" was eventually inherited by their daughter, Marie. After searching for the right property, the family decided to purchase what was then a sheep farm.Alongside the spring manufacturing business, the family turned to cattle farming and shaped the farm into what it is today.
